Posted March 15, 2012
For one night only Jonathan will be starring in A Mixed Tape at Playhouse West in North Hollywood on March 31.
The play proved to be a such a huge success earlier this year, with every performance selling out, that one final performance has been added.
The play, written by and starring Eric Edwards, is the first installment in the comic journey of Ed Eldon, an aging character actor "slash" writer "slash" comic "slash" audience recruiter "slash" nice guy "slash" disgruntled internet dater who has given up on love and has resigned himself to living out the rest of his life alone. But with the help of John Cusack, Tom Waits, holding the chi, a single mom, a gorilla and a banana, Ed may give love one more chance.
Described as "a comedy about fear of a crazy ex-girlfriend, Tom Waits, the one that got away, the one right in front of you, John Cusack movies, pagers, VCRs, Laserdisk players, and more pop culture", A Mixed Tape is a play you won't want to miss.
